At this point, I think it’s safe to assume that Belinda and Gina have become Lucy Ricardo and Ethel Mertz.

BELINDA

A housekeeping uniform. That is
so clever. You’re so clever, Gina.

GINA

Thanks. It was a collaborative effort.

BELINDA
(turning serious)
Gina, it was Charlotte!  Charlotte’s
the one who put me in here!  She
planted the drugs in my house!  She
used her power to put me in here!
She’s trying to steal my family….

GINA
(calming)
I know.. I know, honey…

BELINDA

She was just here.. a few minutes ago!
You should have heard her!  She’s
insane!  She said things to me that
were right out of a horror movie!

GINA

Sshhh… I know, honey…
I know all about it.

BELINDA

You do?

GINA

Mm-hmm.

BELINDA
(waiting to explode)
You knew all about it?

GINA

I’ve known ALL about it…
The whole time.

BELINDA

The whole time?

GINA

Yes, baby.

BELINDA
(whispering loudly)
THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU
LET ME ROT AWAY IN THIS STINKING
HELLHOLE FOR THE LAST THREE MONTHS?!!!
WHEN YOU KNEW ALL ABOUT IT?!!

GINA

Hey!!  It took us a while to
come up with a plan, okay?!

BELINDA

Us?.. Who is US?.. And please don’t
tell me who I think you’re going
to tell me.

GINA

Me…

BELINDA

Yeah?

GINA

… and Jane and Kathy.

BELINDA
(slapping her forehead)
Oh, gawd!
Well, with the three of you at the helm,
I’m surprised all of the world’s
problems didn’t get solved.

GINA

HEY!!  No wisecracks, alright?
I can leave you in here, ya know!

BELINDA

I’m surprised Jane doesn’t come
waltzing in here wearing a
Food Service uniform.

GINA

Yeah, we considered that.

BELINDA

Oh, dear lord.

GINA

Well, you know how she likes
to play “dress-up.”

BELINDA
(smiling)
She does, doesn’t she.

They both contemplate
this for a moment.

BELINDA
(snapping out of it)
Well, what the hell is wrong with
Charlotte?!!  Is she insane again?!
I thought she was over that?
I thought she was cured?

GINA

It’s her schizophrenia.
It’s acting up again.

BELINDA

Acting up again? Gina, it’s not
Athlete’s Foot. Schizophrenia is an
extremely complex condition.

GINA

Complex condition? Well, aren’t
we just a little Margaret Nightingale?

BELINDA

Margaret Ni…?  What about the band?

GINA

What? What about the band?

BELINDA

She told me you guys kicked
me out of the band.

GINA

WHAT?!!

BELINDA

She said you guys had enough of
my lyin’ and gettin’ in trouble and
shit, and voted to kick me
out of the band.

GINA

Oh, she’s just fuckin’ with ya.
That’s the disease talkin.’

BELINDA

So, you didn’t kick me out?

GINA

Kick you out?!  Why the hell
would we do that?!  We would
totally suck without you!

BELINDA

That’s exactly what I thought.

GINA

Uh-huh… Always got time
for that, don’t ya?

BELINDA

Oh, shut up.

GINA

Alright… enough of this yackin.’
We gotta figure out how to get you
out of this bed.
